File uploader to a server

Hi All

One of my little projects caught someone's attention.
Its a simple message creation tool to create SMS messages to customers.
However, it currently creates a specifically structured .txt file and the i have to sign onto a internal website and upload the file.
The sms sending is then immediate. Its too cumbersome for normal use in the industry and money for buying software simply doesn't exist.

To roll this out and test with others I should make proposals on how we could do this for others, cheaply and without risk.
So; no manual uploads for others.

How could one automate such a process? There is no chance they will mod the website, but perhaps with some permissions they will consider the tool to make uploads.

So how do you "attach" and upload a .txt tile to anywhere on a server or network? This is a bit out of my normal range of doing, but i want this opportunity and at least have a few viable ideas. We are having our first Telecom today about the idea i posted.

Could you perhaps show us how it is done manually?
I assume you have to manually select a file and then click 'upload' or something?

If you are lucky, the website has an API ....?

The site runs off one of the internal servers, screenshots i will get at work, its not externally available.

But yes, it is simply a case of signing-on, then select a few options and then you just click "Attach" and it does the rest.
But it seems they are thinking of making me sit with a real programmer who has access to all the right stuff and then we may look at the processes and needs together.
My business unit is all for it, now we are linking IT and Retail. Finally!!! Some understanding what we need!

Tomorrow we will see if they would consider a modified version of my little desktop app, or whether they will go the route of duplicating its functions onto a Sharepoint server or something like that. I think we will probably go the Sharepoint route, but i will keep you updated.
